A few years back, Lego began offering a set called Lego Ideas that allowed fans to submit ideas for new sets. The top ideas are put through a rigorous testing process before they are officially released. The new designs allow fans to create extremely detailed models that aren’t in other sets. This process led to Secure Data Rooms the creation of the Voltron set. The set lets you build five lions from mechanical components and then – with a bit of reassembling – connect them to form the legendary Voltron.
Other fan-created sets include this tribute to Japan’s most famous mountain peak. This set is huge and packed with cool details that you won’t find in any other set. It’s also an excellent way to show off your love of Japan.
Another impressive creation is this ode to the Star Wars franchise. It includes all the iconic weapons from the Star Wars universe, plus a lot more than you would normally get in the typical set. It’s one the most amazing sets we’ve seen in quite some time.
Professional Lego artists have been making impressive Lego creations for a long time. One such artist is Mariann Nathan, who has been working as a freelance Lego designer for many years currently. Her portfolio includes everything from replicas of famous landmarks to a life-sized pirate and a four-foot ladybug.
David Hughes is another notable Lego artist who has recreated famous works of art in brick format. He even has a replica of Afternoon of a Faun for sale, but be aware that it’s not cheap.
